Sometimes, but not often, a miracle happens and it just works.

Your code compiles and runs the first time and doesn't fall over.

You flip the switch, and the Rube Goldberg machine clanks happily along without mishap.

You turn the thing on, double click, and everything works as expected.

This is, I think, a form of religious experience.
